This is a project consisting of old amplifier WS354, deck MDS455, main board of CD DIORA (CD-042), drive with laser CDM4/19 from Philips.

CD:
The player was based on the main board of Diora, so it is equipped with features such as CD-042, CD-502 and similar. It has also Standby and numeric selection of the paths from a remote control. There is also a display with larger characters.

Amplituner:
The amplituner was equipped with thre line inputs (CD+Line1+Line2), correction input RIAA and FM radio module.
It also has a signal output behind the volume control (for internal power amplifiers, so it is an active subwoofer). There is also a headphone output with its own amplifier and a speaker output for 8ohm speakers. Available adjustments are: volume, balance and physiologic adjustment. There is also Direct function – when it is active, there is no Balance and Loudness adjustment and the signal passes only through the volume adjustment. Other functions available in this device are Mute, radio support: tuning, change of program, mono/stereo and additional functions such as Sleep (30 and 60 minutes), clock and alarm (turning on radio at the set time). Numeric display was used in standby mode for possible displaing the time (it can be turned on/off) and for setting time and alarm. In active mode, with radio for displaying the program (P0-P9) and selected frequency, at other inputs there is a symbol of input displayed for a moment and then the displayed is turned off, the same when you turn on the sleep. In addition, independently from active input, you can activate the current time displaying from a remote control for about 3 seconds. LEDs indicate: turned on input, Mute, Direct, Sleep, Alarm, Stereo and Tuning to the program.

Housing:
Housing was made of processed casings from WS354 adn MDS455. Large holes were made in the faceplates so only a frame was left from the front, then aluminum plates were glued to those frames. The plates were screwed in angles.

CD-construction:
CD player was mounted in housing from WS354. The bottom plate was to be lowered a little, because the CDM4 drive was too high. There are also 4 other PCBs except the main board: driver, display and two PCBs of local keyboard. Main board was modified, all components around the relay TDA1543 were changed. Electrolytes on supply were changed to FC from Panasonic, other capacitors to WIMY, resistors to metallized 1%. Operational amplifiers NJM4560 were changed to LM4562.
Local keyboard was divided into two parts: right and left with additional IR receiver.

Amplituner:
Amplituner was closed in housing from MDS455. It consists of 11 PCBs: preamplifier, power amplifiers, regulators, headphone amplifier, speakers switch, driver, two display boards, two keyboard boards, power supply of the driver with supply relays.

Remote control:
Remote conotrol was made on double-sided PCB and closed in a processed housing from Elemis driver. It is a standard construction on SAA3010 with a possibility of controlling both devices. Two buttons are used for the selection of the address of device you want to control (Receiver, CD) and the remaining 39 to select the command. Some of the buttons are common to both devices (Stnadby, numeric 0-9).
