hi
i need schematic and pcb for usb to rs232 converter
i need schematic without need used max213 or other max ic
and i have just ft232bm
please helpme

ft232bm schematic

Do you want generate the RS-232 bias voltage ? You will need a voltage multiplier.
Is better to use an integrated circuit to perform it, it´s my sugestion.

Concerning circuit, shematic is providen on datasheet, and PCB depend up your target requirements and constraints.

usb to rs232 ft232

i had a circuit which can work with out any max232 etc

build a rs232

try this :|

usb to rs232+max232+ft232

FT232 has many different versions. You can install a VCP (Virtual Com Port) driver and use USB as easily as RS232

ft232r 232 usb

thancks
but i need schematic with FT232BM
if is possible with out max213
or if possible with max232 or max233
i do not have max213
i have just FT232BM and max232&max233 with this ic is possible making usb to rs232 converter or not?
or just with FT232BM making this converter
thancks all friends

ft232 schema

can you giveme schematic with max232
thancks

connect cp2102 to max232

Hi,

I need to implement a USB host for (mass storage) with my microcontroller. Can I attach the FT2232 with the controller UART and configure it as a USB host?

Regards,
Joby

ft232 usb to rs232

On the question can the FT2232 configures as a host.
Not as far as I know, you need to get a dedicated USB host
to SPI/I2C controller that you can attach to your MPU
Take a look at the FTDI Vinculum USB Host Controller Device.

irq handling usb ft232 rs232

No the FT232 cannot be used as a host.

Just read tps_star past posts, they've been trying to build a RS232 adapter since 2005! Give it up man, buy one instead they're only $20

i found this schematic with out max213 ic
your idea about this schematic what is it
is working or not?

china usb ttl cp2102

Yes that'll work but it's only a TTL level signal and won't interface to a computers RS232 level serial port. It's the same schematic as any ft232. I assume you have the hardware to program the EEPROM.

Hard to say. Build it and report back with your findings.

notebook rs232 gnd usb

hi there!

any suggestion about PCB for using CP2102?
I know it is in QFN package and I'm able to use it but I'm not sure about exposed pad... datasheet doesn't tell about!
My question: I *must* connect exposed pad and the other little pad in bottom left corner to GND (as they are marked on datasheet) or they are for heat trasfer only???

thanks in advance for any suggestion!
