Sample C code for creating a simple menu for DC controller

Hi,
I want to make a simple menu for my dc controller with lcd screen project.There will be 4-5 submenus and in each part a parameter will be decremented or incremented with push buttons.Do you have any sample code on this in C? (PIC16f877)Thanks...

u can think first about the choice of LCD panel..
you can buy those intelligent LCD with parallel/serial interface..

I use standart hd44780 controller 16x2 LCD.
