Looking for something mid-range and which does not cost a fortune..
The CMX-RTX is maybe a solution but the price is high..
Looking for something (working if possible) written in C ..

Maybe ucos-ii is good for you. I have HC08 code. you can also find other processors support in their web.
 

I actually need code for using an SRF08 ultra sonic sensor on the 9S12 if you could send me the code it would be extremly helpful.
