RTC chip DS1338 loosing time

I have this RTC chip that falls behind about 6mins every 6-7 hrs even though I am using the crystal with correct capacitance i.e 12.5 pf.
what else could be the reason ?
 

This issue is fixed now, the problem was I was using 5v ISP programmer to program and then switching the circuit to 3.3v.
once I replaced the ISP programmer to 3.3v everything worked perfect.
