rs232 converter help

I have a 89 seris RS232 programmer but my computer has no RS232 connector so where i have to connect rs232 cable Is any converter for RS232 to usb please post the link
Sir what is the difference between RS232 to usb converter and usb to RS232 converter

Just google, you can find lots of designs.
 

What you need? You have RS232 device and want to connect that device to PC without RS232 port, PC have only USB?

If yes, you can use provided or similar circuit.



If PC have RS232 port and you want to make RS232 to USB you need different circuit. Additional to this USB ports can be implemented with installation of PCI-PCIe cards with USB ports.

better to buy a readymade USB to serial converter. it'll b cheap and compact.
