Yes, it's ok to integrate over only half the interval if you also divide by the same interval you integrate over. This works because the conduction interval is the same for both halves. For half wave control you would integrate over a half wave, but average over the full wave interval.

For the formulas of post #16, I integrated over the full 2 Pi interval just to show that either way would work ok.
