Dear All ...
Is there some simple IC (not a DSP) for the detection of the ringback tone on telephone lines? I've searched the web without success.
Any hint will be appreciated.
Thanks

Ringback detection

Did u checkout holtek ICs ?
w*w*w.holtek.com.tw* checkout call progress tone decoder ICs

Here is another possibility:

Hi,

You can have a look at : h**p://w*w.zarlink.com/

They sold SLICs, DAA, DTMF receivers/transceivers, CALLER ID and so on.

call in progress

Is possible to realize a DTMF with CPTD, from a simple microcontroller?

thanks
Nebisman

I'm saying using programing similar to those found in DSP but only with microncontroller.

It should performs tone detectio and call in progress detection

help friends, so for let me see if I say a stupidity.

Thanks

Nebisman

can you try simple tone decoder ne567 h**p://www.semiconductors.philips.com/pip/ne567d

can any body suggest me a very good circuit of ring back tone detection using NE 567? the frequency of center should be at 440 hz and 567 output should not be activated at the reception of reject tone at phone line.

mail me at aasheesh_sharma_11@rediffmail.com

i will be highly obliged.

thanx
