Hi all,
I am doing project in WSN. In this, I make the radio in a sensor node to wakeup from sleep mode only when I need to communicate to it from base station. the radio will be in sleep mode in remaining time. For this, I use rfid tag to be connected to external interrupt pin of MCU to which the radio is connected. So when the reader in base station senses the tag, the MCU is interrupted & the radio wakes up from sleep to active mode...... my questions are:
1. Can I use passive tag for this, so that the MCU receives sufficient energy from the tag to get interrupted?
2. If I use a passive tag, what transponder IC is present in it, so that it can be interfaced to MCU?
