RF Applications using All Pass Filters

Hi i have been assigned All pass filter for RF communications based final year project. I am bit confused how to start and books and papers to search for information related to APF. Please someone guide me

I am at a loss, surely a "all pass filter", is not a filter at all? Do you mean band pass filter?

He's probably referring to all pass phase shift filters, as used in some SSB systems.

"all-pass filter" seems to be valid terminology. There's a Wikipedia article with that title, and about 40 000 000 Google results.

Of course all-pass filter is valid terminology, and phase shift network would be another term for the same thing. I'm convinced that the OP will find more papers than he can ever read by just a few mouse clicks. But what's the objective of the project? What are you exactly asking for?

yes phase shift network. I have to do a final year project based on this topic. I want to know some feasible applications on Phase shift network. I have googled on this topic but as a beginner i find them bit complex. so please guide me on how to start work on this

Phase shift method of generating Single Side Band. See :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-sideband_modulation and look for Hartley Modulator. The system relies on a 90 degree phase shift over the voice frequency band (300 - 3 KHZ).
