hi everybody,

can any one help me with the circuit of reverse polarity protection for a circuit,

the circuit is powered by 24V DC.

Thanks & Regards,
7102.

ok that diode has to be kept in series or parallel

In series, between the power supply and the circuit.

One trick I have seen on the input of high power devices is to connect the load via a set of normally open relay contacts and connect the coil of the relay to the input volts via a diode. This way you do not have to put up with the volt drop across the diode.
