I was just wondering if anyone had an ideas on how i would go about building a simple analog circuit that has an adjustable damping factor and an adjustable time constant that also has resonant poles. The circuit will have to be 2nd order to achieve this. I had a few ideas such as using FETs to switch between the capactiors in some sort of op-amp circuit but not entirely sure.
This looks like a two pole active filter. Look at the design equations for the components that affect the real and imaginary (or the natural frequency and damping) parts of the poles.
