resistor match in layout

Hi,

Two resistors in layout need to be matched. Why do we have to make sure current flows the same direction in these 2 resistors? Thanks.
 

I don't understand your question. Resistors are insensitive to current direction. Post a schematic.
 

For resistor matching,
1.Two resistors to be placed in interdigitation fashion
2.Place them in a guardring , by which they see the same environment all around
3.Place dummies at the end.
