Hi,
We have a 1Kw Boost PFC (230VAC) with a NTC in series with the boost inductor. (there is some 3uF of capacitance to primary gnd connected to the point between the NTC and the inductor.)
The NTC is SL32 2R025.

There is approx. 5.3Arms in the NTC at 230vac. Would you agree that the NTC’s resistance will likely go down to 0.1 Ohms? (giving 750mW of dissipation)

SL32 2R025 datasheet

Maybe, but impossible to say from the datasheet since it only specifies resistance at 25A and 12.5A. Recommend choosing a part with rated current closer to your operating conditions.
