Research work in MIMO

Hi friends
If i want to carry out my work in MIMO, what are the areas i have to step in?
can i do only simulation using MATLAB or C....
else can i work in hardware development also...

i am waiting for your valuable suggestion... to fix my area of work in MIMO.

Hi,

I am working in MIMO stuff as well.

You can simulate your results using MATLAB, OPNET, C ....

You can do implementations in hardware as well like i kow some of the unis here who have their MIMO testbed. So if u can have on etest bed u can

Dear

regarding research in MIMO I am also in the same situation as you are.
But for me it seems that Now this is time to work in Cooperatve MIMO Relaying area as this has high potential to act as mobile having multiple antenna which seems not possbile otherwise and this the only practical bottelneck in implementing MIMO in cellular communications.

Just give a thought to it , many universities are working in this area.

hi, even i am also carrying out my research work on MIMO but practical implementation is out of question as of now, though there are lot of papers on MIMO none of them have come up with a promising explaination ...

as of now we should stick onto simulations ...
