I have been using the MAX3232 as a line driver for 3.3v projects for a long time with basically no problem. But recently I have observed that it injects a lot of noise/ripple on the 3.3v rail (can be 100mV), especially when the RS232 device is connected. This is probably due to the charge pumps working. What ever be the reason, it is very annoying and now possibly causing interference. Can anyone either relate to solutions to this problem or suggest a better line driver to use with 3.3v logic?
