can i replace atmega8515 contoller by 8051 miccontoller.
8051 supprot c programming language. which copmiler used which software used. & also loader(atmel.. stk500)

Unllike ATmega, generic 8051 can't be programmed in circuit or "self-programmed" by bootloader. Some 8051 derivates may have additional programming features. Also on chip-debugging as with ATmega isn't provided. Would need a 8051 compiler.
