Hi i am in need of help to develop a magnetic relay stability tester. The relay required a minimum of
2ms to reach its stable state. I am planning PIC 18f45k20(demo board given with pickit 3) for this task.
But i am confused with ADC conversion time., What is the minimum 10 bit conversion time?
Is it possible with this controller?

What is the idea to test relay? please help

Your conversion time will be based on the clock speed of the PIC 18f45k20 microcontroller and how you set the ADC register bits for timing. Read the data sheet to get this information and what settings you can use. You test a relay to verify that it will break a circuit on open before and devices are damaged. Especially for magnetic relays you are creating and deactivating magnetic fields to close and open a circuit. There will be a tolerance on its capabilities and that why you test things that you buy, especially for safety circuits.
