What happens to the noise parameters of an RLC circuit if its quality factor is increased?

If the Qualty Factor increases, the losses ( global ) will decrease, so Noise coming from lossy elements will be lower.
That's all..

Maybe i should rephrase the question. What I meant to say was, assuming the loss remains the same, but somehow we store more energy per cylce to increase Q. For example, there are some MEMS resoantors that can be modeled like an RLC circuit, but mechanically the stored energy per cylce can increase while loss remains the same. now how does the noise circles remain constant as the Q increases?

Higher Q is a common result of reduced R (or reduced proportion of R). Hence we can expect increased Ampere flow, and maybe increased energy storage. However this is not directly caused by higher Q but by reducing R. Because to avoid unequal comparison we ought to reduce applied power. Thus not as much energy is stored however not as much energy is lost either.

Higher Q tends to cause an LC combo to have:

* Longer tendency to continue oscillations.
* However requires more intense 'kick', or more cycles, to start it oscillating.

* Greater selectivity. Less responsive to noise off-frequency.
