Hello Everyone

Can any one please give me the link or steps for how to work with MPLAB IDE 8.89v (i.e., steps from creating new project to debug the program in controller). I am using pickit2.
and how to see my compiler name?

Hi,

As well as what BigDog has just mentioned, you could look at some of the more recent Ytube videos like this one.

You need to look at the Pickit2 User Guide for details of how to run Debugger with MPlab and how to set up your hardware.

Also make sure you check with MPlab that the chip you choose can run direct with the Pickit2; some older/smaller chips need expensive ICE/ICD header assemblies.
