Hello,

Could anyone tell me whether I could use a transistor to drive an N-channel mosfet such as IRFZ44. Once I do this I would like to drive it using a suitable mosfet driver.

Just to be clear, you want to drive a MOSFET with a transistor and then you DON'T want to drive it with a transistor?

To answer your question, yes, you can drive a mosfet with a transistor. Do you have a more SPECIFIC question? Voltage? Speed? Power?
