I am assigned to design a basic 8086 system including I/o ,timer,USART,RAM,ROM etc. But I just need to design the schematic and not simulation (Proteus strictly prohibited). My instructor told me to design it in Orcad. But i didn`t find the model. So, i need to know schematic design software where i can design 8086 system except Proteus. Thanks in advance.

I haven't use ORCAD for maybe 25 years but even then you could design your own parts. If you are only drawing a schematic you should be able to add it yourself. I normally use Kicad and DEX for schematics and PCBs, they can both support it. DEX has it in it's library in both max and min configurations.

Sir, i have the dex now but i don't find the 8086.the software seems to be very slow in my computer.
