Hi Dude,
i am using NCP3063 IC for switching regulation purpose, i need 3V input and 12V output DC, with 1.5A output current,

so normal design requires external mosfet to drive more current, can any one suggest me a design for NCP3063 with external mosfet

Hi dude,
i need to know the selection of R1,R3,R7,R8 and transistor,MOSFET selection method for my requirement

3V input and 12V output DC, with 1.5A output current

Please help me to rectify the issues

12 V output at 1.5 A, makes 18 W.

This means your 3 V supply has to provide 18 W input. That means 6 A average.

Your waveform through the coil will attain peaks between 8 and 15 A (depending on what degree of current ripple you choose).

Is your power supply able to provide that much current?
