hi friends,
i installed the tools in workstation .the problem is how i execute the tools whether the license in server.
how to setup my tool can run with license file in server.

lm licence file samcef

use the variable string LM_LICENCE_FILE = port@server.
the port and server name is available in your license file.
the license file will have a line like this
server machine name port_num

depend your license is fixed or floating.

just try "setenv LM_LICENCE_FILE portnum@server"(for c-shell)
ex. setenv LM_LICENCE_FILE 5280@cdssvr
