Hello
I'm designing a rectangular array antenna with inset fed on a high frequency. I designed my patch and I got not a great gain (2.7) but when I add more patched to my array I'm looking my gain! I've attached a snapshot of my single and 4 patches array antenna design....Please help if you guys know how to do it on HFSS.... I might be missing something I'm not sure about!!

Thanks,

I don't think that's the right way of designing antenna arrays. Did you get any gain with the array that you built. How is the S11 response ?

Attached figure is just one way to design patch array antennas.

Hello sv1437

In my single patch I'm getting about -28db and on the four patches I'm getting about -8db! As for gain, I got about 2.4 in the single one and about 1 for the four!

Thanks,
Sam
