Hi everyone, i lost my files and recover it from format using "recovermyfiles" but the problem was when i opened the file it is blanked..any suggestion please?

Probably the hard drive has replaced the file or fragmented the inside and only left the header, personally I have never succeed to recover files when they are filled with blank.

Is there any way to recover it?or any software you can suggest?

You can use 'tuneup undelete', it comes with tune up utilites. It will work for files deleted after installing tune up and strictly deleted from recycle bin. 'shift+del' files will never be recovered

As your heading states, if the disk is "Formated" therez practicallly no way recovering the old data. Coz formating should have cleared every single bit from it.

Actually i recovered it from formatting but the problem is i cannot open the file...any suggestion?

Actually the normal formatting is not erasing the data from the hard drive at all - it only resets the FAT tables. If you scan the disc you can find the file clusters and completely recover the files. Only low level formatting or using utilities as WipeDisk can completely erase the data. Search for Undelete and Unformat utilities, if after the format you didn't use the disk you can probably recover most of the data. The recovered files could suffer from missing segments, in case they are text files this is not so big problem (partially the file is usable) but in case of EXE files it will stop working completely.

So be careful not to write any data on the formatted disk before you unformat it - the new data will overlap the original data.

if you are not written to the disk after formatting you can get the files, just googlle for format recovery there are lot of tools available, i am using easy recovery

i suggest EASY RECOVERY software better for formatting data recovery in hard drive .it's also support delete files recovery .

U must try sum other software also sometimes there are situations where a particular software doesn't work but other can recover ur data intact. I hav personally used one such gud software called Kernel for FAT and NTFS, u can also get it free from Internet
you just need to read the software instruction and see data being recovered.

i tried with many software, easy recovery is working fine

thanks for the idea guys but still nothing happens..i think the best way is to start making the files again.
