Real Time Clock using ds1307 not updating the time

I am doing a project for real time clock using ds1307 and pic16f877a..i can see the time set on lcd...but the time is not updating...i am using i2c protocol for communication..i am doing the project in ccs compiler...please help me to solve the problem..

hey, just check with your I2C function once and in the main when u r putting the string on lcd just check the delay. u can refer to the following tutorial on RTC it shall help.
