Dear All,
We are using PIC18F4620 controller to read AC Voltage generated by one of our signal processing module (to read split core current transformer value).

The sensor output is AC voltage, we use burden resistor and some filter circuits. At controller firmware we are taking RMS value for the collected average value and calculating the Amperes? Any suggestions? Are we going in right direction? or is there any thing needed to be changed at firmware or at design layer?

Looking forward for your suggestions and thank you in advance

Deepak
