Hai

What is the difference between RDS transmitter and FM transmitter ? Can we add RDS data in conventional analog fm transmission ? Is our mobile phone FM reciever is analog or digital ? Then how can our mobile phone process as analog fm receiver or digital fm receiver ? Normally what is the transmitter used in FM transission , is it anlaog transmitter or digital transmitter ?

regards
Aneesh

RDS modulation is a QPSK modulation. It is a subcarrier of FM broadcast radio base band, 58 kHz above center freq.
One common type of **broken link removed** including RDS, used in many cell phones.
TX PA can be driven in several modes but carrier wave type is analog for all types of radio-waves I know about.
