hi,

i am new to this site.. i am doing project regarding Raspberry Pi (camera module).. i just want to know is it possible to capture image and control the brightness of camera using GPIO lines with switch interface, if so plz give me some idea.
Thanks in advance..

Thank you for your reply.. ya i have already read this document.. but in this they hav'nt said anything about the GPIO lines for using cmmera module.. my question is instead of using the code and generate the camera module, can i use switches for that using code.. thank you ..

Hi,

As you can see the Pi camera uses their CS1 interface that does not include any direct control lines.

All the PC type of cameras I have used like web cams only have pure data/video lines.
