Hi,
We have ported some code from VitexII to Virtex4.
The old code was using RAM64X1D and we keep it in our new version.
it was synthesised correctly and we did post translation simulation and it was working too.
but we failed to do Post place and route simulation.
When we checked the documentation , we found that RAM64X1D is not supported in Virtex4,
Do you have any explanation?
Should we use another memory?
Is there any equivelant to be used in Virtex4?
also is RAMB16_S2_S36 supported in Virtex4?
