Hi,
I'm synthesizing a large VHDL component and I'd like to swap some elements from memory to registers to compare the results. I'm using Quartus II. Is it possible/how?
Thank you.

If you want to store bits into memory - you should infer (using Altera's HDL templates) or instantiate (using Altera's IP catalog) a block RAM.
