hello all,

I would like to make a system having a CPU memory i/o and memory that it doesn't losses its data when power off. Having input sensors for pressure, present of eclectic current, temperature. also communication ports as RS232, usb, ethenet TCP/IP and LCD display.

I would like to ask the type of a memory that doesn't get deleted on power off, probably a similar design of it or ready make boards.

thanx all:)

I think EEPROM has this property.
But here is it possible???

Better use normal RAM available with a battery backup.

EEPROM is what you need!!
Be aware that there are a lot of types out there
First choice is serial or parallel EEPROM.
Now a days serial is most common.
Different types of serial interface
SPI
I²C
Microwire
and many more... ...

If you have a µC with a serial interface it's obvious that you select that type of interface for your EEPROM :)

Last but not least: Please forget about RAM and backup battery :(
