I recently take part in a RF project. There are two many problems.
1. I want the read distance about 6 meters. The antenna must be in a PCB and low power comsuption. And it will be used in vehicle access(near the metal). If it is possible to rfPIC to cover this range?
2. I easly to make a transmitter using a saw resonator but I found it is very difficult to design a recievr. I hope some one can help me.
3. I try to use the Transeiver from RFM TR3000 to develop it but it is too expensive to make the product. Is there cheaper solutions?
What I did in past when I need to transmit RF data I bought an RF wireless mouse from my local market quite cheap.
The transmitter based on saw resonator and receiver part based on crystal controlled
RF receiver gives a very quality reception, so you can also try this solution in your design
I've got some better solutions and want to go to the next step.
I want to get the a 1mA signal at 3.0V from the antenna(coil) in the tag when reader send a "1" signal from about 6 meters away. Both sides work are work in 13.65Mhz. It works like a passive tag but I only need this "wake up" signal without any data.
Any one can tell me to get the well done antenna design in tag and reader in 13.65mHZ?
It is too complicated for me to calculated from a book.
