Questions about Power Management IC design

Hi

Could anyone help me to amswer questions for Power management IC design.

Is it part of analog ic design field?
Could you please advise any books for a biginer?
Does this field include DC-DC converter, LDO, and Charge Pump? anythingelse?

I have searched thise questions above from here, but I still can't make sure the answer. Please help me~^^

As you questions, i have some answers.

1.Q: Is it part of analog ic design field?
A: Yes, it is. As every portable product need supply. And for the cost issue, this
part has been designed to IC field.

2. Q:Could you please advise any books for a biginer?
A: It is depend on what topics you want search. It includes "Linear"
and "Switching power" regulator topic. If you want learning LDO (Linear
regulator), i recommand you can see the Dr. Rincon-Mora's book.

i recommand you can see the "Power switching converter" book.
