Dear all,

My project seeks to demonstrate the usage/merits of the Zigbee Protocol in signal tx, so i need something that is strictly Zigbee

I already bought a XBee ZB S2 ZigBee Module for my project, but due to a difficulty or its reduced compatibilty with MicroChip PIC's, i am considering

buying a Microchip's MRF24J40MA module. I went through the MRF24J40MA module datasheet and saw this;

''The MRF24J40MA module is compatible with Microchip’s ZigBee®, MiWi™ and MiWi P2P software stacks''.

So i want to ask..........is ''MRF24J40MA'' really a Zigbee module just like the ''XBee ZigBee Module'' ??? or is it just compatible with it??.

Plz help, esp experts who have worked with the two modules.

Regards,
