hi frnds...suppose there is any circuit which contain microcontoller at89652 ....it is possile to use at90s8515 instead of at89s52..plz reply the circuit will works same as it will work in at89s52 the pin configuration is same ...
 

The at90s8515 may look similar to the at89s52 but it is not drop-in replacement ..
However, if you take into account differences in pin allocation and translate software then you can use the at90s8515 instead of the at89s52 ..

If the two controllers are having the same pin configuration i.e are pin compatable then you can replace the controller you want.

The 8515 were made pin compatible with 8051(at89s52) so they can work . Just chech the RST and EA/VPP pins...othersiwe they should work.
 

u cannot interchange s52 with 8515, since they are different architecture. even though they are pin compatible
