Question about noise in CDMA and orthogonal sequences

in CDMA we use different orthogonal sequences for different users then they are effected by each other?

Hi,
I did'nt understand what is meant by 'the users are effected by each other'.Infact, in CDMA, each receiver generates a unique PN(Pseudo Noise)sequence.Hence,if a transmitter wants to send data to a particular receiver only,then it has to modulate its data with the PN sequence of that particular receiver.By doing so, a particular receiver only can receive the transmissions and for other receivers, the transmissions would be just like a noise!
Hence the problem of users getting affected by each other doesnot arise.

In Gaussian channels, orthogonal codes help us to detect the information of each user without any interference from other users. In fading channels, orthogonality of the codes will be corrupted and it will cause multiuser interference and each user will be affected by this effective noise.
