Hi all
I'm working a current protector . I found that IC LTC 1477 of Linear is capable to limite and protect short-circuit of load. So Im not sure about the operation of this IC. I will describe my understanding follwing:
- If An increasing load current wiil be limited to the value (ex 0.85A...)
- If the load current is always at limited value. The temperature of IC will be increased. When the temperature is equal to 130 degree, the thermal protection circuit will operate and shutdown MOS-switch.
However, I don't understand which is the condition to make chip to go out the shutdown state ? (Maybe the temperature is less than 130 degree ?)

Thank you very much for all advices and comments.
