Dear all,

Can two or more routers can be connected via ethernet interface?
If yes, then we have to use cross-over cable or straight cable?

If you want to connect two routers with each other then you will have to use cross-over and if you want to use switch in between them then you should use straight through.

In real world, does two routers use ethernet port to interface, and what for?

Can cross-over cables, used to connect routers also? I think cross-over cables are used only for trunking b/w 2 switches.

You should know about the type of routers you have, their exposed interfaces, and what you are trying to achieve.

Can two or more routers can be connected via ethernet interface?

Yes. However, it can be a problem as both routers probably want to act as DHCP server in network.
Also the firewall on some routers may not be able to completely turn off, so that could cause problems with sharing files between computers in network.

If yes, then we have to use cross-over cable or straight cable?

Crossover cable should be used.
