Hi guys , i want to build an LNB circuit , and i want to know some things :
can the relay pass lnb signal in his switch without any loss ?
What is the required pcb track thikness for the lnb signal ?
I wait your answers thanks
I assume you never did a HF PCB. Good luck.
Thickness or width?
--> it depends on PCB material, PCB thickness, trace type, expected characteristic impedance...
look dear , i want to build a switch circuit for connecting 2 sat receivers in the dish motor this circuit have 3 F connectors one for the motor and two for the receivers , when turning OFF receiver 1 the motor will automatically switching to receiver 2 .
Please help me
So why don't you do an internet search for "RF switch" "RF relay" "RF MUX"...?
I assume there are ready to buy solutions available.
You should have at least some basic HF knowledge if you want to build it on your own. I don't recommend this.
-LNB Output is not 12.75GHz, the First IF is max. 2150 MHz
-Switching RF Signals cannot be done with ordinary relays or similar devices.Dedicated RF Relays or Switches should be used.
-If you don't have sufficient experiences -seems to be- request a help from a RF guy..
