hfss solution option

Hi everyone,

I would like to clarify some issue regarding the setup solution, Under this, we can select the single frequency, my question is the value of the single frequency be deduced as the middle of the start and end frequency of the sweep frequency? Actually what is the purpose of this single frequency? I have tried to consult the help option in HFSS but I don't really understand the meaning for this.

Thanks

If I remember correctly it is related to the meshing, ie the mesh will be generated and optimized for that frequency. Thus you should rather use the end frequency for finer mesh.

Hi,
HFSS is based on an adaptive meshing algorithm

The user set the frequency, usually, in the middle-uper part of the bandwith
and HFSS will build a mesh adapted to the field structure

The user does not need to create the mesh
since the algorithm will automatically create the optimum mesh.

The advantages of this method are obvious to me
