Push-Pull Converter MOSFET Issue

Hopefully everyone won't mind if I ask another question related to this power supply in this thread? I am revising the PCB layout from the original prototype and I am trying to reduce the size slightly. One avenue that I have available is to put the SG2525 and the related circuit directly underneath (on the opposite side) the toroid transformer. Are there any issues that could arise from doing this? My main concern is breaking up what is now a fairly open ground plane under the transformer.
