publishing software tutorials

Where can someone publish a software-related tutorial?
I mean something like a "how-to ... with xx software package".
Does anyone have experience about a similar case?

These kinds of writings dont really fit in magazines since they are too closely related to a product. The software company's website might seem to be more appropriate, but they are not article publishers.

Sites like Make Magazine or Instructables https://blog.makezine.com/ and www.instructables.com are good choices. If you can find a forum specific to the industry your tutorial is for that would be another (probably better) choice.
