Projector powered by a computer power supply

It is a modified cheap projector. The board with the power supply/balast and the converter board were removed, because the motherboard required +3,3V, +5V, +12V. The projector is powered by a computer power supply. The optocouple responsible for the operation of the lamp should be shorted after turning on the projector. The original burner was removed, and in its place H1 50W 12V was put.

Elements modified:

• H1 50W 12V lamp in serial reflector
• motherboard powered from a computer power supply
• 7-wire cable from the projector, one wire free (quite thick cable, but it can be hidden). Wires used for:
  1. +3,3V
  2. +5V
  3. +12V
  4. turning on the power supply
  5. mass
  6. 12V separate to power the lamp because of consumption of 6A and voltage drops.
• three switches:
  1. lamp switch to cool it before enabling the projector
  2. power supply switch
  3. switch, that shorts the optocouple legs

Image in 70% darkening (2m x 1,8). Actually the image is brighter.
