project suggestions for DVB ES programmable logic controller

I am new in the field of the programmable logic controller PLC , my supervisor proposed me the DVP ES2 from Delta, i need so ideas to implement like a student project... if possible give me some examples or resources to get start especially with this type of plc

I would ask you about the reputation of Delta PLC, how is it in the automotive industry ?? is it cooperator to Allen Bradely and Siemens ??

I never worked with Delta PLC ... I believe its less expensive than Siemens PLC.
