hi,

I would like to know , howlong will i get tsmc PDK (the process )through europractice?

Plz tell anybody.

Be prepared to wait a long time and sign a lot of silly paperwork.

No seriously, I'm in the US where we use MOSIS (TSMC prohibits Europractice from serving US customers on their process) and the process was an enormous pain. The level of unecessary secrecy in this industry -- especially when we're talking about a decade-old process -- is a major impediment to progress.

Also, I assume that Europractice only covers European countries so success will depend on where you are.

Just checked their website and they seem to offer some services worldwide but it is not clear exactly which services are European only.

Actually they'll offer most of their processes to non-European customers. The "no TSMC for US customers, you have to use MOSIS" is the obnoxious exception.

That will probably be TSMC - they have always been awkward to deal with. I work directly with lots of foundries but with TSMC I have to go through IMEC.
