step 7 timer

I have several ON delay timers. Every time i have to change the delay time i have to search for each timer and change their time.
All of them have same delay time.

I want to call the delay time from a db variable so that i only have to change the time in db. How to do it? I have tried it but timer doesn't take time from DB.

Hello!

When you declare the variables in your datablock you must declare them as s5time.The initial value is expressed like this S5T#xMS (x integer in miliseconds,).

Ex: S5T#500MS (500 miliseconds)
S5T#5S (5 seconds)

A S5TIME variable occupies a word.So when you want to call the variable from datablock you have : DBx.DBWy

x=no of DB
y=no of Datablock Word

Ex: DB2.DBW4 declared as S5Time

Best regards!
