Problem with TCB8000C LCD with RS232 operation

Hi all
I bought the Color graphical LCD TCB8000C and i want to test it using my PC and the RS232 connection.
I changed the jumper configuration as stated in its datasheet and supplied it with the 5 V power supply but still I can't see anything on it.
I don't know what commands I should send first to intiate it and I'm communicating with it through Hyper Terminal and RS232 serial connection.
Is there any advice ?
Please help me about this,its urgent
