While trying to test the FPGA board there was a problem indicating "parallel port not responding" but when i connected the printer to the same port it worked well.
What may be the problem?

regards,
R.

did u make sure that the kit switch was on???
what generated the error???

do you check the JTAG circuit on your board?

you can try anaother FPGA board

The error is with the address of the parallel port and the message reads "Check your parallel port hardware address".

aalso it might be problem between 3.3V and 5V, I had that problem with dell docking station which is outputing 3.3V I was need 5V

see if it is standard or enhanced parallel port
